What is WysHome?
WysHome is a web-based collaborative home management tool for everyone that is engaged in buying, selling or owning a home. We have created an online platform that aids in managing all of the details of purchasing and selling homes, as well all of the tasks associated with home ownership. Users can manage and store all of the important documents associated with owning a home, keep up to date at every stage in a purchase transaction, communicate with everyone in the transaction with ease as well as request competitive bids from vendors. In short; It’s an application to make your life easy.
Who can sign up for WysHome?
WysHome is for anyone buying, selling or living in a home. For the time being, you can only sign up after accepting an invite from your real estate agent. You can always ask your agent to sign you up today.
How long does it take to sign up?
Two minutes is all it takes.
Is WysHome safe?
Would we be here if it weren’t? WysHome is designed to store a massive amount of personal data that you can share when you want, with whomever you want. We are focused on bringing you the most secure platform possible. Every one who accesses the transaction must have a secure password to access our site and once they access the site every thing is encrypted with 256 SSL. We host our website on Amazon’s EC2 and S3 servers, which use the industry-leading standards to make sure all our user’s information remains secure. All user content is backed-up on multiple servers around the US so you know the transaction will always be safe. We never share users information in any way that would create a privacy concern.
Will my phone number and address be public?
No. Any information you store within our system can only be shared with your permission. If you choose not to share information with anyone, that’s your call.
Can I export my data once it’s in your system?
Not currently, but this could be an upcoming feature.
Can I Cancel My Account?
Yes, at any time. For the time being you must submit a request to us directly at support@wyslife.com if you wish to close your WysHome account.
Do you offer support?
Yes. Not only do we offer a full suite of tools to support our users, but we also create how to videos and host live webinars where you can directly interact with one of our customer service agents. We also have great documentation and FAQ section that covers the most common questions. Of course, you can always contact us directly if you have any questions.
How often does WysHome add features or improve the site?
We have a growing development team, and we are constantly adding features as well as improving the functionality of WysLoop. We always welcome suggestions.
What browsers do you support?
While we work well in all browsers, our development efforts are focused on Firefox and Chrome.
Do I need any additional software?
Nope. No downloading, no mess. Since we are a web-based application, not only can you avoid installing any new software, but everything in your account is available to you from any computer you log in from. Though you may need to own certain copies of office software to access specific document formats (i.e. Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat)
How does WysHome work with WysLoop & WysVendor?
WysHome is the buyer & seller platform. WysVendor is the Vendor (Appraiser, Inspector, Plumber, Electrician, ext.) platform. WysLoop is for real estate agents and financial officers. WysHome works with WysLoop and WysVendor so that everyone can have different levels of access to the purchase of a home. WysHome users get full access to the transaction, while WysVendors have a limited ability to access the transaction, based specifically on what their role in the transaction is.
At the completion of the transaction WysHome users lose access to the specific WysLoop functions and information used in the transaction process, but they keep access to all documents, contacts and events that were shared with them through the WysLoop transaction. This information will stay with them as long as they continue to access WysHome.
Who creates transactions?
Either the buyer’s agent or the seller’s agent can create transactions. Buyers, seller and financial officers must be invited to a transaction to participate.
When I invite someone to be part of a transaction how do I know if they are a WysLoop, WysHome, or WysVendor user?
You don’t have to. We take care of it for you. All you need to know is their email and name. If the person you invite is already a user then we send them a link to accept the invite and if they are not a user yet, we create an account for them and send them an email with all of their login information and a link to join the account.
If I use the same people on all my transactions will WysHome remember them?
Yes. When you invite members to the transaction we populate a list under the text box you are writing in with a list of previous users you have invited in the past.
Does WysHome offer E-Signature, Fax or email document upload?
Not yet but we are working on all of these and we will notify users once they are available.
How does WysHome help a new homebuyer?
WysHome is our homeowner portal that aids in the process by not only keeping the potential buyer informed through WysHome’s interaction with WysLoop, but once the transaction is completed, WysHome gives the owner control over all of the tasks involved with actually owning the home by letting them schedule upcoming events and maintenance, store and file important home documents, and even contact approved vendors for all of the things that come up along the way.
I have bought my house. What can WysHome do for me now?
We are still here to help. You can still store manage all of your existing documents, upload new ones, and share with your contacts. You can also schedule important dates, or even routine maintenances on your home. Soon, you will be able to get competitive bids from vendors for various home-related needs, and even hire them directly through our site.
How much does it cost?
WysHome is, and will always be, 100% free with no premium services, or costs for storage. We are the only home management software available that will always be free.
If it is free how do you make money? I mean are you going to charge me later?
No. We are never going to charge users. Like Facebook, LinkedIn, Flicker and other free services you use everyday we make money by providing small helpful ads and services to our users.
